PFFALA fundraiser

In 2012, the Professional Fire Fighters Association of Louisiana began conducting a telephone fundraiser that currently continues today. Since the inception of this fundraising endeavor the members of the Professional Fire Fighters Association have been committed to giving back to the citizens and communities throughout our great state for their support by providing a variety of programs and resources.

Throughout the year the PFFALA conducts the telephone fundraiser by calling members and citizens for their support. When calls are conducted they are done so with the highest degree of professionalism and with the involvement of the PFFALA leadership.

The kindness shown towards this fundraiser has allowed for the sponsorship of child burn victims to attend Camp I'm Still Me where hundreds of young Louisiana burn victims are able to have a fun, safe environment to help rebuild their lives. This fundraiser has also helped to support organizations that are dedicated to improving lives of people throughout the state. The PFFALA has been able to help co-sponsor an annual Company Officer Leadership Conference so that our fire fighters are better trained and prepared to serve citizens and prevent injury and death in the line of duty. A partnership with the American Heart Association has allowed for the funding of CPR instruction to be taught to Louisiana high school students to help save lives. The fundraising effort has most recently permitted the PFFALA to contribute funding toward the new Our Lady of the Lake Pediatric Hospital to serve and assist children from across the state. The Professional Fire Fighters Association of Louisiana has been successful through the years putting into place many of the laws that protect the lives of our firefighters and those we serve.

The PFFALA fundraiser is not affiliated with any other fire related groups or telemarketing companies from outside the state. The Bossier City Fire Fighters Association would like to thank all the citizens and members that have graciously given contributions to help support the various programs previously mentioned.
